Goodnight Moon is a classic nighttime story. A little bunny is tucked away in his room as he says goodnight to everything in his room. This book is a calming story to read with colorful pictures and rhythmic text.
I love this story, and this is why I rated it four out of four stars! I remember being read this as a child, and it was always a favorite of mine. The rhyming text is so calming for a child right before bedtime. The book itself, being a board book, is very sturdy and would certainly survive for years.

I remember this book as a kid, and is definitely something that a parent could read to their child to help make the child fall asleep. The book sets the tone for helping a kid fall asleep as the bunny is telling everything in his room goodnight. A great children's book for a parent and child to read with.
ReplyDeleteI remember this book and it being one of my favorites as a child. Even though it is a older book, I think that the message and book will always stand the test of time and will remain a classic children's book. This is also a perfect board book because small children would enjoy looking through the pictures again and again.
ReplyDeleteGreat pick, this is a bedtime staple at our home. Someone gifted us this at our baby shower with our first child and we've been reading it since. Now that our boys are getting older they like to say goodnight to things as well (good night hotwheels!)
