Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a classic tale. This is an essential story for children as they are taken through this magical world filled with endless possibilities. Children can let their sugar-filled dreams fly as they read this story.
This was one of my favorite stories when I was younger, as I remember being so captivated by the idea of this candy-filled land. The text is very descriptive which allows for children's imagination to wander to the unknown. The movie, too, is just as amazing, which children can watch and compare the two together. I rate this book four out of four stars!

Brielle,
ReplyDeleteI love the movie so I can only imagine that the book is just as good! Does this book have illustrations along with the text? also what age range would you recommend this book for and why!? I know usually books and movies are different, are the two fairly similar or fairly different in your opinion?
The sound of being in a candy-filled land sounds like a dream come true, especially with the chocolate water fountain and everything being edible! that truly is a dream of imagination allowing children to tap into their creativity.
